The client needed to launch their Fall 2018 print and digital catalogs to position their underwear line as both high-fashion and highly functional. However, the project faced a critical resource constraint: no new major photoshoots could be funded, requiring the entire layout to rely almost completely on existing client photography. The challenge was to transform flat, mismatched lifestyle assets into a cohesive, premium editorial catalog that visually communicated the brand’s mission of fun, beautiful, and comfortable undergarments without looking repetitive.

The Strategy

MAKE IT FEEL NEW AGAIN

Useing all existing photography provided by the client and we gave it a fresh layout and made the images feel NEW again!

For most images we created clipping paths and dropped them onto new solid color backgrounds and added some shading and noise in order to create a realistic in-studio effect. This let some images stand out and be NEW hero shots for their page.

We built a rigid naming convention mapped directly to the client's inventory database SKUs to ensure seamless asset cross-referencing between design and production teams.
